Songs & lyrics
Six Shoxrux songs: full lyrics supplied by the artist, with editorial notes exploring the story in each song.
Beyond the chorus
A familiar chorus does not always tell the whole story. A verse may challenge it, shift the speaker’s address or recall something left out of the best-known line. Read each song in full, then return to the recording with fresh attention.
These songs approach relationships in different ways: inner conflict in Tobora, mutual affection in Meniki, returning memories in Bexosdan, a tense farewell in Qora Ko'zlaring and estrangement in Endi Begona. Uch Qahramon turns from personal relationships to responsibility and peaceful life.
Lyrics remain in their original language, without automatic translation. Verse divisions, repetitions, colloquial forms and spelling follow the text supplied by the artist. The accompanying editorial notes offer a reading of the songs, not statements about the artist’s private life.
Separation and inner conflict
Tobora presents separation as an argument with oneself. Adjusting to a loved one’s absence takes time: memory draws the speaker back while pride holds them away. The lyrics keep returning to one difficult choice.
Read lyricsCloseness and mutual affection
Meniki revolves around a repeated word and its answer: the speaker calls someone their own while also belonging to the relationship. Impatience and an unanswered phone give way to warm images of a voice, a gaze and closeness.
Read lyricsA chance meeting and memory
In Bexosdan, the present suddenly opens onto the past. A seemingly polite exchange with a stranger reveals recognition, unspoken words and memories. The chorus reminds us that earlier days cannot return.
Read lyricsA final glance and farewell
Qora Ko'zlaring returns to a final encounter: a look, a touch and words of love still waiting to be said. The verses also speak of exhaustion, indifference and the decision to leave. The song holds these feelings together.
Read lyricsEstrangement after closeness
Endi Begona, from Davom Etar, addresses someone once close who is now a stranger. Memories of love meet the pain of separation: what once brought warmth has become a source of hurt.
Read lyricsService, resilience and peaceful life
Uch Qahramon centres on a protector whose daily readiness keeps others safe. Homeland, service and the difficulties of the journey lead towards peaceful life. Responsibility to others takes the place of a personal love story.
